CLAUDE LELOUCH PRESIDENT OF THE JURY OF THE 15TH EDITION OF THE MONTECARLO FILM FESTIVAL

Claude Lelouch, the award-winning French director, twice Academy award winner, he will chair the jury of the 15th Monte-Carlo Film Festival de la Comédie, which will take place from the 26th of February to the 3rd of March 2018 in the Principality of Monaco.

Created and directed by Ezio Greggio, the Monte-Carlo Film Festival, this year, it will take place in the prestigious venue of the Grimaldi Forum in Montecarlo, where theaters will alternate projections, masterclasses with the most loved protagonists of international, Italian and French cinema and will culminate with the usual Gala evening and award ceremony on Saturday March 3rd.

“It is an honor for me that Lelouch has accepted to be the President of the Jury. Lelouch who is a legend of contemporary cinema history will return to Monaco, after having won a special prize dedicated to his career a few years ago during the Montecarlo Film Festival de la Comedie”.

Director, screenwriter and producer Claude Lelouch has a long and rich film production that had its peak in 1966 with “A Man, a Woman” with Anouk Aimee and Jean Louis Trintignant. In his life Lelouch has won numerous awards including the Palm d’Oro in Cannes and two Academy Awards, one for best foreign film and the other for best original screenplay. Among his most famous films, to remember “My Women” (2014), “Roman de gare” (2007), and “Les Miserables” (1995) from the famous novel by Victor Hugo, a film with which he has won a Golden Globe.
